I am new here.....
I have been researching online, re: at home fertility kits for men. (for my husband)
We thought we'd start there. it has been 13 years with unprotected intercourse and NO results. I have had endometriosis and it may be back. He has two chilren from a previous marriage. Most likely its me, but am wanting to start somewhere. I am 40 and have always dreamed of a family.
The internet provides a ray of differant tests but I am wondering if any of you out there may have tried one in general that you found worked. Input would be great. Thanks in advance for your help.

There are a lot of different over-the-counter tests for infertility emerging these days, but they often vary in their accuracy. Over the counter kits can detect whether or not you are ovulating and help to pinpoint the exact time of the month in which you are most fertile. I have seen other tests advertising screening for FSH, a hormonal marker of how many eggs are in the ovary, although I would not place much trust in such tests. Regardless, with what you are describing as 13 years of infertility, I would strongly advise that you schedule a consultation with a Reproductive Endocrinologist soon.
Thank you for sharing your question,
Sincerely,

Having no insurance right now makes it difficult to see another specialist. i currently see one for my RA and its out of pocket. Many thanks for responding.
