Patients taking this med have reported missed periods (indicating delayed or absent ovulation) and painful menstrual cramps, but it is not a common side effect. As with all medications you should talk to you doctor if you are trying to conceive.

I am unaware of any studies linking lamotrigine specifically to outcomes with ovarian stimulation, although I would echo Robin Webb's responses with regard to its effects on the menstrual cycle.
