You're right Kristen there is a whole new language on these boards, I had a potential patient email me that she had a history of a BO, and it took me a minute to figure it out.  In some settings that may mean body odor or bowel obstruction, but in the IF world it meant blighted ovum pregnancy.  For those wondering, "11dp5dt" means, 11 days post transfer of a five day embryo or in other words the dreaded 2ww/tww, the 2 week wait following the embryo transfer until pregnancy test.

Is it possible to do the NCIVF without the trigger shot?

The HCG trigger shot helps time the retrieval and ensure the egg has gone through the needed stages to mature.
