I've been put on bedrest for premature labor, any DF pts go through this?

Hi AAF, I had a CVS at 12 wks and it was stressful but we were so happy when we got the results. I think it was at that point that I truly believed I may have a baby...he's amazing and gets bigger everyday.

Yes, I had two very different experiences...I would be happy to share my story if it would help. But I hesitate to share in an open forum, because, while our story has a happy ending, we did have some significant 'issues' on our journey. I don't want to worry anyone, because our issues were most likely due to my age and had NOTHING to do with the CVS procedure itself. Is there a PM option?

Has anyone had a CVS? My OB recommended one and I'm scheduled for next week, but I'm kind of concerned about the risk of m/c.

Hi AAF- I'm a NCIVF success, the exhaustion you feel in early pregnancy is totally normal, it was hardest symptom of pregnancy for me. I was prepared for morning sickness, weird cravings, and I was actually reassured by those things. I needed the typical pregnancy symptoms to help me believe it actually worked! I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy.

AAF~Definitely felt the same way as you...knew as much as I ever wanted to know about the getting pg part...but was at a loss once I got pregnant.

I have to be honest, I didn't read up much on it. I actually read "The Girlfriends' Guide to Pregnancy"...more of a humor book than anything else. I really relied a lot on my OBs, and because I was pg with twins, I was there quite a bit.

Sleeping and being tired is really very normal...biggest warning I can give is to prepare yourself for the coming and going of symptoms this early on...don't let it worry you.

Congratulations Rebecca, your bundles of joy bring back happy memories for me. My boy/girl twins (12 years old) went to overnight camp today, and I long for those days when I could tuck them in at night and solve all their problems with easily.
