When to test for pregnancy

I just had a five-day fresh donor egg transfer. Today is Day 6 since the transfer. I just took a home pregnancy test, and the results were negative. I researched online and it seems as if most women are able to test by now. Should I assume that I am not pregnant? Please help me figure this out!
