Fertile Grounds | IVF Forum | Tips for getting Pregnant

Working at Dominion Fertility often feels like working with an extended family.  When Dr. DiMattina started Dominion Fertility in 1987, he always wanted it to be a place that offered cutting edge technology in a personal setting.  Some 25 years later, that is exactly what Dominion Fertility is.  We have staff that have worked here for over 20 years and employees that often leave to start a family and come back when their kids are entering school.  It is a place that one feels very lucky to be a part of.

Every year we have staff picture and many people who see it, say that it just looks like a “fun place to work”.  While every day is not always “fun”, we do deal with very emotional issues and medical treatments that require great attention to detail, it is a place that feels “good “ to work at.

This year, we wanted to extend our good fortune to another family in our community.  Our office holiday party was not a glamorous dress-up event with cocktails.  It was our staff sitting on the floor of our waiting room wrapping presents and preparing dinner for a local needy family.  We even had wonderful patients contribute to the family with us.   It was exactly how our Dominion Fertility family wanted to celebrate our successful year.

As the party wrapped up and we delivered the food and presents to the local family, we all decided that THIS was how we wanted to celebrate our office holiday party every year.

May the joy of the season last the entire year to fill your heart and remind you that it is in giving to others that you truly recieve.  We here at Dominion Fertility are ready to help you today and every day.

Hello and welcome to Fertile Grounds.  These follicle sizes are most certainly normal early in a Clomid cycle.  It sounds like you just need some more time for us to see how your ovaries are responding to the medication, particularly if…

The goal for ovulation induction is one dominant follicle to emerge, and it sounds like you are on track.  Sometimes it can take longer for patients with PCOS so hang in there, and good luck with tomorrow's scan.

Low count sperm count

We are trying to decide between NCIVF or regular IVF for our next step.  The only thing identified wrong with us is a low sperm count (12 million) which doesn't seem like a low number to me, but I'm not an expert.  We have done 3 IUI's without success, and our insurance doesn't cover either type of IVF so what should we do?See More
